Holidaya is a free tool to see public holidays in Greece and plan your leave. By using the site you accept these terms.

1. For information only

We work out the holidays carefully, from the law (Art. 60, Law 4808/2021) and the date of Orthodox Easter. Still, there can be mistakes, changes by ministerial decision (e.g. May Day being moved), or differences between the public sector, the private sector and employers. Holidaya is not legal or employment advice. Confirm dates with your employer or official sources before you book leave or travel.

2. Your plan

Your plan is stored only in your browser (see the privacy policy). If you clear your browser data or change device, it is lost and we cannot recover it. Anyone with a share link can see the plan it contains.

3. Fair use

Don't use Holidaya for anything unlawful, and don't try to disrupt it, overload it or get around its security. Automated reading of the public pages, the holidays.ics calendar and llms.txt is fine at a reasonable rate.

4. Content

Holiday dates are public facts and you are free to use them. Holidaya's design, text, logo and code are ours; please don't copy them as your own.

5. Third-party links and services

Holidaya may link to other sites or work with calendar apps. We are not responsible for their content or terms. If a link is an affiliate link, meaning we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, we will say so next to it.

6. Availability and liability

Holidaya is free and provided "as is", with no promise that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using it or from relying on its information (e.g. non-refundable bookings). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.

7. Changes

We may change Holidaya or these terms. The date at the top shows the latest change; if you keep using the site, the new terms apply.

8. Governing law

Greek law applies, without affecting the mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
